Is Your Practice Ready for the 2025 HIPAA Overhaul?

The latest changes to the HIPAA Security Rule are making enforcement easier — and violations far more costly. With new rules in place, audits are becoming more aggressive, fines are growing steeper, and practices of all sizes are under heightened scrutiny.

The stakes are higher than ever. Between 2022 and 2024, the number of reported HIPAA breaches skyrocketed — outpacing the entire previous history of HIPAA combined. If your practice isn’t fully aligned with the 2025 changes, you’re at serious risk.

But here’s the good news: With the right guidance, you can take proactive steps now to avoid audits, fines, and public exposure.

What You’ll Gain from This Training:

This expert-led, 60-minute session offers practical, real-world HIPAA compliance strategies tailored to the 2025 updates. You’ll walk away with a clear plan to protect your organization from common — and costly — mistakes. Key takeaways include how to:

  • Identify and fix costly EHR and telehealth compliance gaps
  • Spot overlooked cybersecurity threats before attackers do
  • Understand exactly what auditors are targeting in 2025
  • Update your Notice of Privacy Practices to align with new requirements
  • Address how state-level HIPAA regulations may override federal rules
  • Correct common violations in email, texting, and waiting room protocols
  • Implement essential policies for portable devices and employee BYOD
  • Navigate the revised PHI definitions and documentation rules
  • Meet OCR response deadlines and avoid automatic penalties
  • Close hidden Wi-Fi and network loopholes that could expose your data

And much more…

Why This Training Is Essential:

The 2025 HIPAA changes are not business as usual. With tougher rules and rising enforcement, practices need more than generic compliance checklists — they need actionable, proven strategies.

This session cuts through the confusion and helps you build a strong defense against fines, data breaches, and patient trust loss. Whether you’re in compliance leadership, IT, or patient services, this training will help you understand what’s at stake — and what steps to take now.
